On the sixth day a city tour of Cochin and drop you at the Airport / Railway station.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Cochin Airport And Proceed to Munnar. Check in to hotel…

Welcome to Kerala. Arrive at Cochin airport/ Railway station and transfer to Munnar for your stay. Rest of day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2 Munnar Sightseeing

Today proceed for full day Munnar Sightseeing, visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Gundala Lake, Photo Point, Cinema Shooting Point, Jungle Honey Bee Nest, Pothamedu .Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3 Proceed to Thekkady…. check-in to Hotel...

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (140km,4 hours drive), on arrival check into the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake will be a lifetime experience.

Day 4 Day at Leisure- Thekkady

Full day at thekkady. You can go for optional activities like Spice Plantation visit, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant Ride on an extra cost. If you are interested, take a jeep safari Satram/ Parunthumpara or to the boarder villages of Tamilnadu to explore village life. Relax your body through a massage.( All these activities are optional) Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 5 Proceed to Alappuzha

check-in to Deluxe houseboat Alappuzha or Alleppey also referred to as “Venice of the east” is situated on the confluence of Vembanad Lake, Kerala’s biggest backwaters, and the Arabian Sea, offering a setting like nowhere else in the world. Its beauty is not merely in its backwaters, but in the man-made islands that you will find amidst the waters. These islands are hedged by mud walls, a haven for migratory birds, with paddy fields inundated with water through the year. These islands are special as they lie below the sea level and are found only here… Cruise along slowly in these intricate networks of canals (Kayals) passing through villages and paddy fields. Enjoy the cruise in Vembanad Lake, the serene backwaters of Kerala….. check-in to the meandering canals and swinging coconut palms…..witness the paddy fields of Kuttanad, perhaps the only place in the world where cultivation is done at 2mts below sea-level……an experience to cherish for life……..Also enjoy freshly cooked Kerala cuisine in the boat…. Night stay in Houseboat …

Day 6 Check out and proceed for Departure

A city tour of Fort Kochi depending on your flight/ rail schedule. If time permits, we can visit Jew town and syngogue, Dutch Palace, St.Francis church, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica and obviously the Chinese fishing nets. After the city tour, drop you at the airport/ railway station. As all good things have to come to an end, this tour also comes to an end………leaving behind sweet memories of your visit for us……and life’s most memorable moments for you to take back

Exclusions

• Any meals other than those mentioned above.
• Any Airfare / Train fare.
• Any transportation which is not mentioned in the itinerary (Will be charged for additional travel)
• Entrance fees to Amusement parks & Boating charges.
• Any portage at airports and hotels, tips, insurance, wine, mineral water, telephone charges, and all items of personal nature.
• Any services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions.
• Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like rail and flight delays, roadblocks, and vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances etc.
• GST extra @ 5% of the total bill amount.

• 25% hike in package price from 15th December to 15th January
• Houseboat check in at 12 PM and check out next day 9AM
• If mentioned hotels not available at the time of reservation, similar hotels will be provided with your consent
• Prices are based on a minimum of 2 adults travelling together
• Prices are based on Standard Rooms.
• Surcharge is applicable for a passenger travelling alone.
• 'Child Rate' applies to children, between the ages of 5 to 12 years.
• Houseboat day cruise starts at 11 am and finished at 5 pm with Breakfast Lunch and snacks
